Police stand guard at the scene of a car bomb attack on the convoy of Egypt’s Interior Minister, Mohammed Ibrahim, in Cairo.
Nobody was killed, but a
teenager lost her leg. The Minister, who was appointed by deposed
President Mohammed Morsi but supported his removal from power, was
unscathed. He warned that this is likely the first in a wave of violence
from opponents of the current military-appointment government.
